My favorite Christmas Carol is "Oh Holy Night". The best I have ever heard it sung was when I directed The Best Christmas Carol ever and, after the show finished, we had each of the kids line up along the auditorium with plastic light-up candles. First, they recited the Christmas story that has become best know as Linus' speech in A Charlie Brown Christmas, turning on their candle as they said their line. Then, in the candlelight, they sang Oh Holy Night a capella. Unfortunately, the video camera didn't work that night, so it lasts only in our memory.
